SAT Reasoning SAT preparation is offered in a comprehensive program, comprised of one-on-one tutorials, covering each of the three sections of the SAT Reasoning: Math, Writing, and Critical Reading. Alternatively, individualized programs are available for students who need to focus on only one or two sections of the test. During each session, students are instructed in both content and strategy. Upcoming SAT Test Dates: December 3, 2011 January 28, 2012 March 10, 2012 May 5, 2012 June 2, 2012 Sessions are available for upcoming test dates. Please call for more details and/or scheduling. All pricing is based on an hourly rate of $95. SAT Subject Tests Many schools require two SAT Subject Tests in addition to the SAT Reasoning or ACT. SAT Subject Tests preparatory work consists of one-on-one sessions covering both content and strategy for the following SAT Subject Tests: Math I and II, Biology, Literature, U.S. History, World History and Spanish. ACT Prep Should you consider taking the ACT? Now that all colleges accept the ACT w/Writing in lieu of the SAT Reasoning, more students opt to take the ACT as either a supplement to or replacement of the SAT. Students who prefer the ACT note that the questions tend to be more straightforward and that the content more closely mirrors much of that learned in school. Conversely, the SAT tests a range of reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills based upon, but not directly derived from, most schools' academic curricula. ACT preparation is offered in a comprehensive program, comprised of one-on-one tutorials, covering each of the sections on the test: English, Math, Reading, Science, and the Essay. For students who need customized support on one or more areas of the test, we always offer individualized prep programs. In every tutorial, students are instructed in subject material and test-taking strategy for each section of the test -- Reading Compehension, Verbal, Math, & the Written Essay.
